“ Thanksgiving Floral Design” Educational Workshop

Just in time for the holiday, we had a great opportunity to learn something new about floral design and create a centerpiece for the Thanksgiving table.  Over 60 members and guests attended the educational workshop taught by our longtime member, Marge Huemmler.  Marge is a seasoned designer at major show and flower show judge.  She has been a contributing designer to many flower shows including “Art In Bloom”.

 

As has been our practice in previous years, some of the centerpieces were taken to local hospitals, nursing homes and charitable organizations to brighten the day of someone who can’t be home for the holiday.

 

As you can see from the photos on the left, everyone had a great time!!!
