How to Make Large, Lush & Private

Low Maintenance Gardens

This program will explain how to create colorful but low-care gardens with trees, shrubs and ground covers instead of high-maintenance lawns and flower beds.  It will also detail how to create privacy with man-made but natural looking ridges known as berms.  The talk will be illustrated with beautiful full-color slides of outstanding gardens.  Robert Gillmore is the author of “The Woodland Garden” and “Beauty All Around you: How to Create Large, Lush, Low-Maintenance Gardens, Even on Small Lots and Small Budgets.”   He is also the creator of Evergreen, a one acre woodland garden in Goffstown, NH, open to the public, without charge every year on the first weekend in June.
