Over 50 members and guests came out for our January program at the newly renovated Salyards Center for the Arts.

 

Hospitality set out a wonderful spread of goodies with a snowman theme.  Just perfect for the day.

 

We were honored to have Scholarship recipient, Sam Norden from UNH come back to visit us.  It was great to hear how well he is doing with his studies in school and what his plans are.

 

Local Naturalist, Dave Eastman presented an interesting slide program on native shrubbery and how birds help to reclaim the landscape and the ecological placement of same.  Dave writes a weekly newspaper column and is featured on the radio under the name of “Country Ecology”.
