“The Nuts and Bolts of Organic Gardening” with Henry Homeyer Lecture and Book Signing |
|
On a beautiful Spring day in April, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch and educational program by noted personality, Henry Homeyer at the Red Fox Pub in Jackson,
Henry Homeyer serves as a UNH Extension Service Master Gardener and is a professional garden designer. He is a gardening columnist with weekly columns in a dozen newspapers in VT, NH and ME. He is the VT and NH editor of “People, Places and Plants” Magazine and also writes for the Boston Globe, Gardener’s Companion, Yankee and other publications. He is the author of 3 gardening books and does a monthly commentary for VT Public Radio.
We had over 80 members and guests attend. The food was great and the lecture on organic gardening was very educational and we had the opportunity to have him sign his books for us. Exit comments included: “This was terrific... Can’t wait for the next one!”
